Scripture: Jeremiah 10: Verse
There can be no comparison between God, angel or mankind. None is like God for the perfection of His nature, the work of His hands, the excellence of His power, the blessing of His love, compassion, mercy and grace.
Surely, there is none like the Lord among great ones of the earth, or the heirs of mighty kings, queens, princes, emperors, presidents, dictators, prime ministers, generals and judges of every rank and order.
None is like unto the Lord because of His: (1) Wonderful Works: God is great in the wondrous work of creation, His divine wisdom and power in all the affairs of Providence. His greatness appears in the exercise of His power and might in making all things out of nothing, in upholding the whole creation and in the governance of the universe. (Psalm 19: l)
(2) None is like unto the Lord for the Wonder Christ did before He was made flesh and dwelt among them in the acts of love to His fallen people, in asking to let Him become the surety, the guarantor for them in proposing to be a sacrifice in their stead and in entering into a covenant with His Father on our account, in taking care and charge of our persons and being the treasury of all the grace, mercy and glory for us. When the fullness of time had come, Christ took upon Himself the nature of man, was made flesh, dwelt among them and many wonders were done by Him in the doctrine He taught; the miracles He performed and especially the great work of redemption and salvation; His death, resurrection, abolition of sin; His ascension to heaven as mediator and intercessor and for His second coming to Judge the living and the dead. These are all wonder working power.
(3) None is like unto God for His Glory and Holiness in heaven and in His Church. Just as God showed Himself glorious to the children of Israel at Mount Sinai, so has Christ displayed His glory in all the works He has wrought, especially in the wonderful work of redemption, to redeem His people from sin, to make them righteous, and to make them holy. (Ps. 86:8)
None is like God.
