BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, June 18. 2018 - POLICE say that they have formally charged a 16-year-old for the murder of a 17-year-old male in connection to a Taylors Village shooting.
According to police, the 16-year-old was also charged for the attempted murder of Antonio Lestrade (19 years) and a 15-year-old male, both of whom received gunshot injuries during the incident.
On May 30 this year, gunshots rang out at a house in Taylors Village, police upon investigating found the 17-year-old dead, and the two others injured.
Police said that charges were laid against the juvenile in the presence of a probation officer and his brother on June 16. One other person is currently in police custody assisting with investigations.
