Three (3) local contractors have been awarded contracts by the TDC Group of Companies to begin work on the first phase of the Company's latest Real Estate venture, Sunrise Hill Villa Resort.
The representatives of locally-owned and managed Enterprises, Brookes Architectural, Skeete and Associates and Stephen and Associates were awarded the contracts to build the first nine Villas, of the EC $54 million dollar project. This project is located at Half Moon Bay Heights, Frigate Bay and the first phase is valued at US$7 million or EC$19million dollars.
In giving remarks at the official signing ceremony, Mr. Michael Morton, Group Chairman, expressed the Company's pleasure in being able to create another initiative that will provide opportunities for local contractors.
"We are very pleased to be able to commence construction on yet another Construction/Real Estate Project that will generate opportunities for our people. This undertaking will provide employment, skills development, as well as, investment opportunities for local, regional, and international Villa owners," remarked Morton.
The contractors, in return, thanked TDC for the confidence that it has placed in their abilities, and for giving locals the chance to bring the project to fruition.

This gesture also helps to demonstrate TDC's ongoing commitment to the advancement of the Nation, economically and otherwise."
Sunrise Hills Villas will be located on 8.77 acres of land in Frigate Bay. It is adjacent to the Royal St. Kitts Golf Course and boasts the panoramic view of both the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. Forty (40) exclusive Villas will provide Caribbean-style living with a contemporary flavour. The project offers one, two, three, and four-bedroom Villas starting at US $275,000.00.
The architectural designs were done by Nicholas Brisbane & Associates (NBA) and will feature tropical landscaping, the security of a gated community, tennis courts, swimming pools, meeting room facilities, and spectacular views, all packaged within a tranquil environment.
The signing ceremony was held at the TDC Head Office Boardroom and was attended by Executive Directors, Senior Managers, and Members of the Press.
