CHARLESTOWN, Nevis -- POLICE are currently investigating a robbery that took place at an establishment in Nevis last evening.
The robbery occurred at the Oasis Bar in Stoney Grove at approximately 11:00 p.m.
According to police reports, two masked assailants armed with guns entered the establishment and demanded money. They managed to escape with an undisclosed amount of cash stolen from the register.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident.
This robbery adds to a string of recent incidents targeting business establishments in the Federation.
Just over a week ago, on March 15th, the Horsford Gas Station on Wellington Road was robbed under similar circumstances. In that instance, three masked gunmen entered the premises between 7:45 p.m. and 8:45 p.m., held up the establishment, and fled with cash from the register.
Law enforcement officers continue their probe to apprehend the perpetrators and ensure the safety and security of all in the Federation.
