BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – HOW about receiving a discount every time you make purchases at a particular entity “until forever”? It is not as impossible as it sounds because S. L. Horsford’s Ltd. has provided that reality for its customers.
Near the start of this year, the corporate entity embarked on an awareness campaign dubbed “Discount Forever”, which provided for a mandatory discount of at least 15 percent for persons who patronised their Building Center in St. Kitts.
S. L. Horsford’s Marketing Executive Wallis Wilkin recently told SKNVibes that customers who have been grouped into specific categories would receive higher discounts on their purchases.
He spoke specifically of contractors and members of the company’s Frequent Buyers Club. The latter, he said, would receive up to 17 percent discount while the former would receive up to 20 percent.
Regular and potential customers – he further explained – would receive the minimum 15 percent discount.
Customers on Nevis need not worry about being out of the loop as they are not exempt from this offer. As the promotion extends to the S. L. Horsdord’s Nevis Center, customers on that island can also take advantage of the deal.
Wilkin said the concept for the promotion was birthed some time ago where customers who asked would be given a 15 percent discount. He said it was not consistent and the implementation of the promotion would redound to the benefit of customers.
Commenting on the S. L. Horsford’s reason for implementing the promotion, Wilkin expressed, “We are giving existing customers and potential customers an incentive to shop with us. In these difficult times, we feel it is important for us to provide all avenues possible for our customers to save.”
And since its implementation, Wilkin indicated, “We have received good feedback from customers.”
