Leader of the Opposition Peoples Action Movement Party, Lindsay Grant was returned unopposed as Political Leader of the Party at a Meeting of Delegates held at Party Headquarters on Sunday April 3, 2005. Amid tumultuous applause, delegates showed in no uncertain terms that this was the person they wanted to retain the leadership position of the Party.
Other officials returned to their positions were:
Chesley Hamilton Chairman of the Party
Cyndie Demming Deputy Chairman
Eugene Hamilton and Shawn Richards as Deputy Political Leaders
Valentine Lindsay as Asst. General Secretaryt
Newly elected to the Executive are: Avenice Jeffers as Treasurer and
Slieh Boncamper as Public Relations Officer.
The elections are expected to be ratified by members attending the Partys Annual Convention which takes place on April 17.
