BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - REPORTS reaching this publication indicate that the vehicle which was stolen from a Frigate Bay family during a burglary that occurred some days ago has been recovered.
SKNVibes understands that the vehicle was discovered between Saturday and Sunday morning, parked in vicinity of the George Moody Stewart School at Kittstoddart.
The vehicle was reportedly first seen there on Saturday morning, but suspicions were not raised until the following morning when it was still parked there.
Press and Public Relations Officer for the Police Force Inspector Lyndon David had indicated in a previous interview that the vehicle was stolen during the early hours of Saturday morning (Apr. 25) along with an undisclosed sum of cash.
Further information gathered by this media house indicates that sometime after 1:00 a.m., a male member of the family went to the outside of the home to allow their canine to ease its bowels, and no sooner than he had done that, he noticed a strange shadow behind a vehicle parked in the vicinity of his Half Moon Heights home.
SKNVibes understands that his attempt to return inside unhindered was foiled by the two armed, masked robbers.
The man was pistol whipped while holding his two-year-old child and this publication understands that no other member of the family was injured during the ordeal.
