COURT INFORMATION
District "B" Magistrate's Court
Leroy Bob Pemberton of New Road St Peter's was convicted for the offence of Driving Without Due Care and Attention which was committed on 15th April 2014, and fined $600.00 which is to be paid by 5 June 2015, or in default will serve fourteen (14) days in prison.
ARRESTS
A juvenile was formally arrested and charged for the offence of House Breaking with Intent, which was committed between 15 and 16 May 2015. The juvenile was later bailed to make an appearance at the District "B" Magistrate on Friday 5th June 2015.
Anando Browne of Rawlins Pasture was formally arrested and charged for the offences of Threatening language, Obstruction and Indecent Language.
One Person Hospitalised Following A Traffic Accident
An investigator at Old Road Police Station is investigating the circumstances by which a traffic accident occurred at West Farm on 30 May 2015 about 1:49 pm which resulted in one person hospitalised.
Initial investigations revealed that motor car PA 8855 driven by Jason Clarke of Half Way Tree was travelling Basseterre towards Half Way Tree West Farm. When the motor car crossed the ghaut at West Farm it ran off the road colliding to utility poles, a wall fence, and a LIME Telecommunication unit.
Jason Clarke was taken to the hospital for medical attention for injuries sustained, and the motor car was extensively damaged.
