Basketball City, St.Kitts (April 2nd 2016):- The St.Pauls Tuff Knots will begin their SKNABA Championship Title Defense this Sunday April 3rd at Basketball City with a huge Clash with the Team they defeated in the exciting finals last year to win their 2nd Premier Division Title, the RAMS Hitters. The 2015 Championship Finals re-match takes place at 8pm as the 2nd Marquis Match up for the Grand Official Opening Night of the 2016 SKNABA Season.
Led by Dynamic brothers duo of Noren and Nashorn Maynard the Tuff Knots have had a very impressive run over the last 3 seasons. Just 3 seasons ago the team was non existent as they were on a hiatus of sorts with their key players scattered throughout the league with different teams and Team Captains Noren and Nashorn Maynard pursuing studies at US Colleges.
The Team made their grand return to SKNABA and just as they did 0ver a decade ago when they made their debut in the league the Tuff Knots simply outplayed most if not all teams they played and totally dominated firstly the “A” Division resulting in a Championship there then the Premier Division with a Championship Title run there as well.
The team has been very dominant over the last 3 seasons . With little changes to their line-up and their key players still in tact it is an easy call to peg the Defending Champions as favorites to repeat as SKNABA Champions.
