BASSETERRE (4th April, 2016): The St. Kitts Tourism Authority announced today that nominations for 2015 tourism awards have started.
The general public is invited to nominate businesses and individuals in the St. Kitts Tourism Sector in the following categories:
• The People’s Choice
• Pillar of the Industry
• Achievement of Excellence
• Kittitian Experience Award
• Sustainable Tourism Award
• National Champion Award
• Employee of the Year Award
• Award of Excellence
Minister of Tourism, International Trade, Industry and Commerce, The Hon. Lindsay Grant, pointed out that the winners will be revealed at the prestigious St. Kitts Tourism Experience Awards, which will take place Saturday 21st May, 2016 at the Carambola Beach Club.
“The St. Kitts Tourism Experience Awards is truly a celebration of the outstanding contributions to the St. Kitts tourism product in the last 12 months,” Minister Grant said. “This event is part of the St. Kitts Tourism Authority’s efforts to elevate service standards in the island’s hospitality industry and to encourage the development of uniquely Caribbean visitor experiences.”
The St. Kitts Tourism Experience Awards has become one of the most prestigious event on St. Kitts’ calendar, bringing together industry leaders and professionals in recognition of their outstanding efforts in the various tourism sector businesses on the island, in order to enhance St. Kitts’ competitive position in the regional and global tourism arena.”
