BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – AN individual was reportedly taken into police custody this morning (Sept. 25) after a shooting incident which left one wounded.
The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force issued a communique today explaining that the incident took place at about 6:45 a.m. on Taylors Range.
“Initial investigations revealed that two males were walking in the area when an unknown assailant(s) fired several gunshots at them.”
It further reported that one individual was wounded with a “gunshot wound to the thigh”. That person was “treated and discharged”.
Investigations are being made by the Violent Crimes Unit, the Criminal Investigations Department as well as the Forensics Services Unit.
The Police have informed that one individual has been taken into custody in relation to this incident.
