By: OPM, Press Release

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, February 4th, 2017 (Press Unit in the Office of the Prime Minister) – The Team Unity Government continues to hold itself accountable to the people of St. Kitts and Nevis, as the Good Governance and Accountability for Prosperity public forums move to Constituency #1 next week.

The third in the series of town hall styled meetings will be held at the Newtown Community Center on Tuesday, February 7, 2017, starting at 7:30pm.

Prime Minister, Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris is expected to lead members of the Cabinet including Parliamentary representative for Constituency #1 and Minister of Public Infrastructure et. al, the Hon. Ian Patches Liburd.

Also expected to make presentations at Tuesday’s forum are Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs, the Hon. Vincent Byron and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Aviation, the Hon. Mark Brantley.

Coming on the heels of a successful meeting at the Cayon Community Center on Tuesday, January 31, 2017, organisers are expecting another massive turnout, as the country continues to display strong support for the Dr. Harris led Team Unity administration.

Prime Minister Harris said, “With more than three years to go, we delivered in accordance with our contract with the people over 50 plus manifesto commitments and if there are any criteria by which you evaluate good governance, it must be how do we stand with the contract with the people and our contract with the people was our manifesto; Prosperity for All, Fair Share for All.”
