Constructive input of every resident and citizen of St. Kitts and Nevis welcomed in nation building

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, February 28, 2017 (Press Unit in the Office of the Prime Minister) – With the Team Unity Administration set to host its seventh in a series of town hall meetings dubbed “Good Governance and Accountability for Prosperity”, Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris says the constructive criticism of all is welcomed in the interest of national development.

     

    The seventh town hall meeting is scheduled for tonight at the Saddlers Primary School, starting at 7:30pm. 
     
    This evening’s event will feature addresses by Prime Minister Harris; Minister of Public Infrastructure et al., the Honourable Ian Patches Liburd;Minister of Human Settlement et al;the Honourable Eugene Hamilton; and Attorney General and Minister of Justice and Legal Affairs, Senator the Honourable Vincent Byron Jr.
     
    In an interview with the Press Unit in the Office of the Prime Minister earlier this month, Dr. Harris said, “I am grateful for their support for my leadership of the country and our collective efforts as a government to bring good governance and prosperity to the land of St. Kitts and Nevis.”
     
    The prime minister continued, “My pledge as the country’s prime minister is that I always will remain humble, available and accessible, not only to my beloved constituents of St. Christopher Seven, but to all our citizens and residents of St. Kitts and Nevis. I cherish your advice, your constructive criticism and I say come play a role, help us make St. Kitts and Nevis the best small island state in the world.” 
     
    To date, town hall meetings have been held in Molineux, Cayon, Newtown, Charlestown (Nevis), Challengers and Camps Village. These meetings have featured addresses by all ministers of the Team Unity Cabinet.
