The Apostolic Faith Church situated at #14 St. Johnston Avenue Basseterre is celebrating its 35th Anniversary since the erection and dedication of the Church Building on the 14th November 1976. The celebrations will be from the 13th to the 19th November 2011.
The week of activities carries the theme ‘Rebuilding Families For God’s Kingdom’ and include the following activities:-
Sunday 13th - Thanksgiving Service 5:00pm
Monday 14th - Anniversary Dinner 7-9pm
Wednesday- 16th - Panel Discussion- “Marriage Matters–Tools To Make Marriage Work”
Tuesday and Thursday 15th & 17th Evangelistic Services 7:30 pm
Friday 18th - Gospel Concert –7:30 pm
Saturday 19th - Prayer Walk 6:00 am - Beginning at Shadwell
The Guest of Honor for this year’s anniversary would be Sis Norma Hazell the wife of the late Pastor Elton Hazell who was instrumental in building this church and the mother of the present Pastor of the Church Pastor Lincoln Hazell. Mrs. Norma Hazell will speak on the topic :- How to win your entire family for Jesus’ during the Thanksgiving Service on Sunday 13th at 5.00pm.
Mrs. Norma Hazell has eleven children all of which are serving God. Three of her children are Pastors, others are Preachers, Music Ministers .and Praise and Worship Ministers. Come and bring your entire family as she teaches us how to win our families over to Jesus.
Monday will be our Anniversary Dinner, come and celebrate with us as we dine and listen to music, dance, and hear from several speakers as they expound on the topic “Rebuilding Families For God’s Kingdom. The cost for the dinner is $25.00.
Tuesday and Thursday are nights of evangelistic services. Bring your entire family as we lead them to the Kingdom of God. As our Nation is experiencing a crisis, with our young are dying before our eyes it has become the more important to lead your entire family to God. Speakers will be Pastor Mark Hodge of the Sandy Point Apostolic Faith Church and Bishop Cyprian Williams of the New Birth Gospel Tabernacle.
Wednesday will be a night to remember. This will take the form of a panel discussion. Four Couples of various will give their stories of their courtship and marriage while giving the audience the privilege to ask questions. You cannot afford to miss this exciting evening.
Friday will be the reopening of the Elton Hazell Memorial Youth Complex with the Concert of the Year with World Renowned Carmella Lawrence of Nevis, along with other local gospel musicians and singers . This is the night for youths as well as the seniors to celebrate Jesus together. Bring the entire family. Admission only $10.00.
Saturday we end the week of activities with a Prayer March from Shadwell Estate to the Church, The Prayer March starts at 5.30am.
